  1. Contests

    All Go-Rounds and Finals to be held at the James Brown Arena, Augusta, GA

    1. 4-YEAR-OLD FUTURITY and 5/6 NON-PRO CLASSIC:
      • $60,000 ADDED MONEY to the Open classes to be prorated between the Futurity Open and the Classic Open
      • $36,000 ADDED MONEY to the Non-Pro classes to be prorated between the Futurity Non-Pro and Classic Non-Pro.
      • A contestant may show four (4) horses, 2008 foals, all breeds in the Futurity classes.
      • A contestant may show six (6) total entries in any combination of 5-year-old and 6-year-old horses, 2006 and 2007 foals, all breeds in the Classic classes.
      • Non-Pros must qualify under NCHA Non-Pro regulations.

      The Open and Non-Pro Futurity and Classic classes will consist of one (1) go-round and a finals. The top 30% plus ties (with a minimum of 14) will advance to the finals.

      Entry fees:
      • Futurity Open: $600 (jackpot) + $600 office/cattle = $1,200
      • Futurity Non-Pro: $400 (jackpot) + $400 office/cattle = $800
      • Classic Open: $600 (jackpot) + $600 office/cattle = $1,200
      • Classic Non-Pro: $400 (jackpot) + $400 office/cattle = $800

      *$150 advancement fee will apply for all Futurity & Classic finalists.

      Entries accepted on a first-paid basis.

      Contests close when maximum numbers received.

    2. THE $200,000 LIMITED: JACKPOT (FOR RIDERS)

      The Futurity and Classic Open and Non-Pro will offer a class within a class for riders with lifetime earnings in NCHA approved contests that equal less than $200,000 as of Jan. 1, 2012. There will be a non-working finals.

      Entry fee is $150 with $75 (jackpot) + $75 (office).

    3. THE $100,000 AMATEUR (5/6-Year-Old): $1,000 ADDED MONEY.

      A contestant may show (6) total entries in any combination of 5-year-old and 6-year-old horses and must meet NCHA Amateur Rules and have lifetime earnings in NCHA approved contests that equal less than $100,000 as of Jan. 1, 2012. The contest will consist of one go-round and a finals with 20% plus ties advancing to the finals.

      Entry fee: $200 (jackpot) + $200 office/cattle = $400

      * $100 advancement fee will apply all Amateur finalists.*

    4. THE $100,000 AMATEUR (4-Year-Old): $1,000 ADDED MONEY.

      A contestant may show three (3) horses and must meet NCHA Amateur Rules and have lifetime earnings in NCHA approved contests that equal less than $100,000 as of Jan. 1, 2012. The contest will consist of one go-round and a finals with 20% plus ties advancing to the finals.

      Entry fee: $200 (jackpot) + $200 office/cattle = $400

      * $100 advancement fee will apply for all Amateur finalists.*

    5. THE $35,000 NON-PRO (Any-Age Horse): $1,000 ADDED MONEY.

      A contestant may show three (3) horses and must meet NCHA Non-Pro Rules and have lifetime earnings in NCHA approved contests that equal less than $35,000 as of Jan. 1, 2012. The contest will consist of one go-round and a finals with 20% plus ties advancing to the finals.

      Entry fee: $200 (jackpot) + $200 office/cattle = $400

      * $100 advancement fee will apply for all Non-Pro finalists.*

    6. THE $50,000 AMATEUR (Any-Age Horse): $1,000 ADDED MONEY.

      A contestant may show three (3) horses and must meet NCHA amateur Rules and have lifetime earnings in NCHA approved contests that equal less than $50,000 as of Jan. 1, 2012. The contest will consist of one go-round and a finals with 20% plus ties advancing to the finals.

      Entry fee: $200 (jackpot) + $200 office/cattle = $400

      * $100 advancement fee will apply for all Amateur finalists.*

    7. Senior Division

      The Futurity and Classic Open and Non-Pro will offer a class within a class for riders who are 60 years old or older as of January 1, 2012. There will be a non-working finals.

      Entry fee is $150 with $75 (jackpot) + $75 (office).

  2. ENTRIES

    1. All entries are due paid in full by Friday, Jan. 13, 2012.
    2. Slots may be sold before said class begins. ALL PAYMENTS ARE FINAL. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS.
    3. Slots will be assigned on a first-paid basis. CONTESTS WILL CLOSE TO NEW ENTRIES WHEN MAXIMUM NUMBER OF ENTRIES ARE RECEIVED.
    4. Credit card information MUST accompany faxed entries. Faxed entries MUST BE CONFIRMED by calling (706) 823-3417.
    5. All entries must be accompanied by horse ownership papers and a copy of NCHA membership card.

  3. MEMBERSHIPS

    Each owner and rider must be a member of the Atlantic Coast Cutting Horse Association. The 2011 membership is $25 payable with your entry.

  4. STALLS

    1. Stall fee is $130 (includes pre-bedding with 4 bags shavings).
    2. There are 600 inside stalls available on a first-paid basis. Only prepaid stalls will be reserved. It is strongly recommended that you include your stall payment with your entry to reserve your stall(s).
    3. Stalls open beginning noon on Friday, Jan. 20, 2012.

  5. PRE-WORK

    Practice works available at the Hippodrome beginning Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012.

  6. CHANGES

    1. Written or faxed changes within the established event/division will be accepted from the slot owner after the draw closes until the 1st horse runs in each contest.
    2. No changes will be allowed after the first horse runs in a class.

  7. JUDGES

    1. A five-judge system will be used in the Futurity and Classic with high and low score eliminated. The NCHA form of adjusted monitor system will be used.

  8. OTHER RULES

    1. The ACCHA Show Committee reserves the right to reject any entry. All decisions of the committee are final. The ACCHA reserves the right to cancel, transfer or reschedule the Augusta Futurity and Classic without notice and/or liability. In the event of a cancellation, all fees will be refunded.
    2. All rules of the NCHA not in direct conflict with the rules of the ACCHA as published herein shall apply. These rules are subject to change by the Executive Committee.

  9. PAYMENT OF WINNINGS

    1. Winnings will be paid to the owner of record unless otherwise directed by the owner in writing.
